This year, nearly 1,000 new schools will help educate over 250,000 children, aiming to significantly reduce the number of out-of-school children in Sindh."

Introduction
The Universities and Boards Department Sindh controls educational, learning and development services and other forms of academic institutions and boards. It is also responsible for handling teachers/faculty members and the staff members in both public and private settings within the province of Sindh.
Our role encompasses policy formulation, accreditation oversight, and curriculum standardization to ensure that every institution under our jurisdiction upholds the highest benchmarks of learning. We work closely with university vice-chancellors, boards of governors, and academic councils to foster innovation and research-led growth.
Beyond governance, we engage in student welfare initiatives, scholarship programs, and international collaborations that expand opportunities for Sindh's youth. Through rigorous monitoring, transparent processes, and stakeholder engagement, our department strives to bridge educational gaps and drive socio-economic development across the province.
